This is a linocut that has been printed multiple times and layered to create a three dimensional print in a shadow box. It explores my feelings of becoming and adult, but still being seen as a child through the eyes of my parents. I used a setting that is not shocking for a 22 year old (reality), but when a young version of herself (parent's interpretation) is in her place the image becomes more disturbing and darkly humorous.
